In this section you will find information about some of the many saints and teachers from the Orthodox Church.

We have a wealth of information about many Orthodox saints, but we have chosen to concentrate in this website on British, Russian and Greek saints. This is a mere beginning: many Saints much loved in our parish have not yet been included.

Before the Great Schism in 1054, the majority of Christians, from East or West, were united in one church. As a Christian community in the British Isles, we feel strongly that it is vital to learn from and celebrate the lives of our saints in the first millennium.
