Orthodox Students come from many different countries and bring with them a deep spiritual heritage and a wide range of spiritual experience.
Orthodox prayers take place in the Ecumenical Chaplaincy Centre every Tuesday during term time at 17:15. We organise a blessing for the academic year in October and various other services during the year, e.g. the Akathist to the Mother of God during Lent. A pilgrimage to the monastery of St John the Baptist in Essex takes place every year.
There are a number of icons in the Chaplaincy, including an original icon of St. Aldhelm, see:

As a local saint, a scholar, a man of prayer and indefatigable preacher and founder of churches he is an important patron and example. As a preacher who did juggling and sang ballads to get the attention of a reluctant audience, he seems particularly suitable for a student environment!
